Features of ₹75 Commemorative Coin for New Parliament Inauguration

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a commemorative ₹75 coin on May 28, 2023, to mark the inauguration of the new Parliament building in New Delhi. 

 The coin is a symbol of India's progress and its commitment to democracy.

Here are some of the features of the 75 Rupee coin:

It is Circular in shape with a diameter of 44 mm

The Composition of quaternary alloy — 50% silver, 40% copper, 5% nickel and 5% zinc

The Lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend Satyameva Jayate inscribed below

The Image of the new Parliament building on the reverse with the words “75 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE” inscribed below

It is a Limited edition and available for purchase from the Government Mints.
