Bairabi Railway Station : The Only Railway Station in Mizoram


1.  Bairabi Railway Station is the sole railway station in Mizoram, a state in northeastern India.
2.     The station was built by the British Indian Railway on 1899.
3.      It is located in the town of Bairabi in the Kolasib district.
4.     The station was converted to broad gauge in 2016.


5.     It is under the administrative control of the Lumding Division of the Northeast Frontier Railway zone of the Indian Railways.
6.     It has 3 platforms and 4 Tracks.

8.     Bairabi Railway Station connects Mizoram to Vijayawada Railway Junction and Congress Nagar Railway Station in Hyderabad, providing rail services for both passengers and freight

10.  The nearest airport is the Lengpui Airport, which is located in Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram.
